I finally trimmed my hair!! Gosh the whole experience is pleasant.. I will remember the hair stylist and come to her again. When it is time for me to cut my hair, all I wanted is to trim it. I am happy with the curls and the hairstyle (a bob but with curls instead of straight hair)
But due to previous experiences, younger and managerial hairstylist insisted me to straighten my hair. But I refused, and the result is a bad haircut. The reason why I wanted to keep my curly hair is because I am totally SICK of rebonded hair. You only get the results for a matter of a few months, then the nightmare comes in. Coz I was born with frizzy hair, and I experimented with lots of shampoos which damaged my hair further. SO the only desperate attempt is to rebond it.
When I bought myself a Keratese' hair mask in KL, it was the heavenly answer to all my mane problems. My hair turned out to be straight from the roots, but along the way, it twisted itself into large, defined curls. And the funny thing is, I never knew I was born with that kind of hair. (And it happened to be my dream hairstyle)

24 August 2005 event..
Yesterday is a great day for me to cherish.
I went out on a half day to claim my Saturday off. So I decided to go to Downtown East to see what's happening. We went there alright, but I was so shocked when the place is literally empty, and its only we ventured further that we spotted some people. I believe half an hour later we went out of the place. I even said I regretted going there. He was quite surprised the moment I suggested it. On our way to PAsir Ris Mrt, we walked along the road, chitchatting along the way. I kept mentioning I should go for suntanning, and held up my arms to prove my point.
"See, my ams are so fair.."
"And I am so fried." came his retort.
"You are ok.."
"No, it isn't. It come to a point where my fairness is tooo noticeable."
"MAybe the next time we should go to Sentosa and you can do your suntanning.
"And we bring a tent along."
He disagreed that we needed to be hassle-free to enjoy ourselves. and I pointed out unless if we have transport.
My left arm, still clasped to his, went slightly to the back. He took the hint and wrapped his arm around it. We reached Pasir Ris MRT and I found myself being overwhelmed, having a case of deja vu.
Soon, we stopped by at the mall and shopped around for a while. I bought some hairbands, and tied my longish wavy hair up. Its time for me to desperately trim my hair. I missed my curls.
When we sat down in the two seats, we decided to go to Town. We went quiet, being tired from all the walking. From Bedok onwards, he enclosed me in a hug, kissing my left temple several times. I played around with him, enclosing his nose, pinching his cheeks the most. I smiled, and felt loved. This is the first time he had kissed me like that. I rested my head against his chest for a while.
We headed for town. For a moment I tot of going up the escalators, for our destination would be City Hall. But to my surprise, he asked me 'where am I going?'
We are going to Orchard, and we switched trains. It was packed when we came in, so I grabbed the chance to cuddle up to him. I cherished every moment I got to hug him.
All the while he reminded me of my fave pillow; the more I hug, the more I miss it the moment I got off the bed.
Strange analogy, isn't it?
Our theme for the day was just to follow people around; go the way where the road take us.
We walked around form Orchard MRT to PS. Grabbed a drink to prepare myself for the long walking journey ahead. So we headed to Seven 11 in front of Ngee Ann City. I browsed through the drinks. A yellow glass bottle caught my eye and being curious, I picked it up. I scanned the cover...
"Erm.. dear? That's beer." Faisal said in an uncomfortable tone.
I held it for a while, and put it down. I selected another drink and paid for it.
Sipping the drink along the way, we dragged our feet along the loonnnggg stretch of Orchard Road.
Faisal blew bubbles, and one happened to float in front of my face. I dodged it with much chagrin. the second one came, but it burst before it reached me. He guffawed when he saw my face turn into several expressions: blur (looking at the buildings at that time) surprised, then my attention sharply cuaght on the bubble (Wondering why is there one floating in front of me) disgusted (trying to dodge it.) and lastly resigned.
We played Time Crisis in PS, window shopped around PS. So when dusk set in, he led me to Somerset MRT and sent me home. We parted ways as usual, then he hugged me. I believe that it is another step to our farewell greetings.

Tired out..
Went home after shopping at Suntec City.. Bought myself a black seamless jacket and earring plus bracelet.. Just the night before hung out with Hajjar and window shopped for a while.. She bought her jacket for her workplace.. She doesn't work as the ticketing officer, right now as a Data entry a hotel.. Forgot the name.
My mind was immediately focussed on the jacket. Buttonless, with 3 small hooks to pin the front together, I made up my mind to buy it. Usual Price is at $79.00, but since Iora is having her promotion, I got it for S$49.00. What a deal! Thanks Hajjar!! Lurve u lots!
I had to buy it for the upcoming Graduation event in jan 2006. Since it will be held in Orchard hotel, our attire will be very formal. I know that''s still 4 more months to go, but hey, gotta grab the chance to buy it first.
As for the earrings, I tot of browsing them only, but spotted a pair that I really liked. Since the small shop had just opened and again having a sale, I got 2 same pair of earrings and a big metallic bracelet. (One for me, one for my sis..)
Going to see Faisal tml. I nearly forgot I am supposed to take half day tml. Been a long time being cooped up at home and wondering when I can go out.. Freedom!
When I headed to Suntec City by CityLink, standing on the escalator. I zoned out as usual. But somebody caught my eye at the last moment. It was Juraimi, my ex NPCC senior. I used to have a big crush on him during secondary school days. His face still hasn't changed. Only he has slightly longish hair. Would lurve to come up to him and chat for a while.. but alas, the opportunity slipped through my fingers. He had been staring at me for quite a while before viceversa.
Bumped into a really handsome guy in Chua Chu Kang LRT. Big eyes, dark skin (baby face) and decked out in white shirt and tie, he looked rather dashing in his attire. I glanced at him twice, and for a moment I thought he was Fanin. He stood behind me in the train. he gave me some leeway when I reached my stop, but the lazy bums didn't move aside for me in time. I had to be delayed to another stop. I slapped my forehead in resignation. I saw his reflection smiling. He searched around for another person in the train 5 mins before I went out.
Darn.. That's my weakness. I'm a sucker for guys wearing formal attire. Makes me go ga ga when I see them. Especially malay guys. it's quite rare to find them decked out in formal attire. Today is my lucky day.. woohoo..
Now when I come to think of it, Faisal really looked nice during Investiture day. Again, I shall keep that memory for now.. He made me go gaga as well..
Well that's it for now..

getting a new MP3 player!!
Gosh.. I am trembling as I write this post. I am getting a new MP3 player! Woohoo!!!
I know in your minds right now you might say 'duh.. so what.. its nothing new.' For me, I have been enduring months without my beloved discman. It certainly felt that I had been missing something. I can't live without my beloved music companion.
For (new, unopened box) 256MB Ipod shuffle costing around $130, it is certainly a good deal.
Since last friday I certainly cannot focus my mind on work. Because the Ipod shuffle stayed on my mind 24/7.
Tml I will transfer $$ and get it tml.. yahoo!! can't wait..
Meanwhile, when heading for collecting the mail inside the EM (Estate Management) office, I spotted Hida and the rest. For the first time in my life, i finally greeted the twins, Lawerence and Simon, and before that I didn't dare to come up to them. The reason why? I once waved to a guy whom I tot to be my NPCC senior in Raffles Place, but it turned out to be the wrong guy. I got embarrassed. From there, I indirectly got a phobia. heehee..
I greeted Limin, one of their malay friends. When I bumped into them again, Hida teased me, making the gesture breaking something in her hands.
Ahh.. that's all for now..

People rushed by. Luggage followed, signaling the rush hour. Saddened goodbyes rang out across the hall. Announcements signaling the end of the boarding time of flights from the P.A system. Children running around, despite the resigned protests from their mothers.
But none of them mattered in existence when Faisal and Adilla stood in front of each other, all too aware of the awkward silence between them.
Faisal was decked out in green, standing tall in his army uniform. His signature hairstyle and moustache were gone, having shaved them off. His hair was hidden by his army cap, and strength emanated from his body. He had rushed to Changi Airport after his BMT, in time for his appointment with Adilla.
He looked at her, memorizing every feature on her face. He hated every moment of this, signaling an important part of their relationship.
Adilla was inwardly holding back tears, and avoided his intense stare. She also didn’t want this to happen, but she had to face to reality. When she learned about the attachment program, she was deliriously in joy. It was a dream, and still did. A thought came into her mind, instantly squishing her happiness. Faisal. He had entered the army to serve his army stint for 2 years. Adilla had agreed to wait for him. But this had to happen.
She knew she had to tell him, no matter what. So she sat him down one day, and told him about this attachment. Faisal went silent when he heard this. His gut reaction was to be angry with her, but he appreciated her honesty and her willingness to tell him. They agreed to hold their relationship, for Adilla to focus on her overseas attachment and Faisal, army stint. But they still had love in their hearts, and none of them were willing to part. By the time Adilla finished, a year would have passed after his graduation.
“Flight 19014 boarding gate is now open. Please proceed to the departure hall now. Please proceed to the departure hall now.”
“Thank you for coming to see me. I really appreciate it.” her voice coming out hoarse. She began to walk, feeling Faisal’s fingers began to enclose hers. She lugged her luggage along, and finally stopped at the gate.
Faisal took two steps forward, pulling her towards him. Silent tears racked through her whole body as they hugged tightly. His finger pushed her chin up. He slowly leant in…
